The UK Faculty of Public Health has recently taken ownership of the Health Knowledge resource. This new, advert-free website is still under development and there may be some issues accessing content. Additionally, the content has not been audited or verified by the Faculty of Public Health as part of an ongoing quality assurance process and as such certain material included maybe out of date. The Faculty of Public Health (FPH) is a membership organisation for nearly 4,000 public health professionals across the UK and around the world.  We are also a registered charity. Our role is to improve the health and wellbeing of local communities and national populations.

Our charitable objects are at the core of our strategy; to promote knowledge in the field of public health, to assure the highest possible standards of professional competence and practice, and to act as an authoritative body for the purpose of consultation and advocacy concerning public health.

FPH is a registered charity and a joint faculty of the three Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom (London, Edinburgh and Glasgow). Its charity number is 263894.
