- Primary outcome
- Secondary outcomes
- Other outcomes
Where to look for the information...
In a structured paper, the outcomes should be reported in the results section. You may wish to cross-check against the methods section that the authors have reported the results for all the outcomes they measured. Key results should be reported in the abstract (especially for the primary outcome) but may not always be.
In this particular paper it is important to look at the text of the results and not just the abstract and tables.
