The UK Faculty of Public Health has recently taken ownership of the Health Knowledge resource. This new, advert-free website is still under development and there may be some issues accessing content. Additionally, the content has not been audited or verified by the Faculty of Public Health as part of an ongoing quality assurance process and as such certain material included maybe out of date. If you have any concerns regarding content you should seek to independently verify this.

Kathryn Knight

Kathryn Knight is a senior information analyst and has worked for the NHS Information Centre for 3.5 years, mainly on Hospital Episodes Statistics and secondary care data.

She now works on NHS Comparators, both providing statistical support and developing the website itself. Prior to the NHS, she worked for the Department of Work and Pensions for 4 years as a statistical officer after graduating with a BSc in Psychology. She has a keen interest in health information, especially in supporting frontline services with tools to enable easy and accurate analysis of high quality data.

She is also a fellow of the Royal Statistical Society and keeps her statistical skills up to date by studying for their professional exams.
